The garments sold under brand Tribes India are hand woven and sourced from different parts of India. Each product is derived from a rich cultural heritage, a legacy that has been carried on by the weavers who have made it for you.

The artisans have exemplary weaving skills. The tribals of North-east weave a variety of textile/ fabrics such as shawls, sarongs, gamchhas and sarees in Cotton, Eri and Muga silk. The Mishing tribe in Assam weaves cotton sarees in traditional motifs used in weaving of Muga Silk, where the border and the palla have exquisite pattern. In Madhya Pradesh, the Bhils are involved in weaving of Maheshwari sarees which are then hand block printed by the tribals in Bagh. Besides Maheshwari, the tribals in Bagh are in involved in block printing of cotton fabric, which is made into salwar kurta and dupatta sets, bedsheets, bedcovers and also into sarees. The fabric is popularly known as Bagh block printed fabric.
