Tribes India offers handmade traditional Indian games made in cloth and jute using hand embroidery techniques and patchwork, the motifs used to play these games are also made from seashells, wood, and embroidered patches. These traditional games are played by almost every individual of India in their childhood and are handed down through generations.
Each and every game has a very interesting saga behind its origin, this form of tic-tac-toe was inspired by the ancient Indian religious ritual: Gaviri, celebrated by the Bheel tribe of Mewar, Rajasthan, India. The artist’s sing-song and dance in these 40 daylong celebrations. Gavri is a celebration of happiness, zeal, unity, and togetherness. Inspired by this, the objective of this game is also to empower the local people, art, and craft of the region.
